Bays on Film

medicineformelancholy_details-1Although it’s been out for a week now, Transracial is still itching to get downtown to see the new film Medicine for Melancholy. The new release by young director Barry Jenkins combines some of our favorite topics — race, love and our dear hometown, San Francisco.

There’s bike riding, bad-ass dialogue and lots of sweeping Bay shots. Nice!

UPDATE: We watched it. We liked it. We recommend it. And the indie tunes are not bad either.
