Sur la Tabla

Back when Transracial could afford over-priced ethnic food, he was a big fan of Tabla, the mod-Indian eatery just off Manhattan’s Madison Square. This Monday (February 9), Tabla celebrates it 10th anniversary — and is doing so in grand gourmet style. House chef Floyd Cardoz is helming a multi-culti feast with the aid of a trio of top local toques — Marcus Samuelsson of Aquavit, David Chang from Momofuku, and Dan Barber from Blue Hill. The crew will prep a six-course tasting menu whose steep price — $300 — will benefit Pratham USA, which supports Indian childhood education.
Doing well by eating well — we like it.
