Poor in the City

According to a recent report from The Center for an Urban Future, it takes nearly $125,000 to live “middle class” in New York City — compared to a mere $95,000 in San Francisco, $65,000 in Atlanta and a paltry $50,000 in Houston. Despite the ongoing economic slowdown, living in New York still requires serious cash for everything from milk to Metrocards. Thinking of moving to the Big Apple?
