During a late-December visit to Tel Aviv, Transracial stumbled upon these nifty little lights at the studio of Rose&Bloom in the city’s newly-hip Noga district.
The design team calls them HANG LIGHTS — dress-shaped lamps crafted from simple but strong parchment paper and festooned with groovy geometric patterns. The designs are connected to an old-fashioned clothes hanger which is hung in your home or office for a sartorial new take on basic illumination. Transracial supports Rose&Bloom’s innovativeness and ingenuity. Best of all, the actual dress patterns can be removed from the hanger and easily replaced with additional designs.
