Mexican-American pianist and composer Arturo O’Farrill will be the man of the hour tomorrow night when he leads the kick-ass African Latin Jazz Orchestra during two nights of performances at Symphony Space on the Upper West Side.

The concerts come just as O’Farrill — whose Orchestra is based at Jazz @ Lincoln Center — returns from a successful tour of Cuba.

It’s our first time seeing O’Farill (above) in action and we’re stoked to hear his mellifluous mix of strings, piano and percussion — much of it influenced by his legendary father, Chico, who previously led the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra.

It’s a Gringo-Latino musical must-see and we’re keen to hear what O’Farrll fils has on his repertoire tomorrow night.
