SHOWING IN NEW YORK: “Collected” at the Studio Museum of Harlem

We were sad to miss last night’s opening of Collected. Propositions on the Permanent Collection, the new exhibition at Manhattan’s Studio Museum of Harlem.

The exhibition — which runs through June 28th — is comprised of 14 interpretations of the Museum’s rich permanent collection and features 200 works of art in innovative, first-of-their-kind displays (including the piece by artist Romare Bearden, above).

Collected is a timely salute to the Museum on its 40th anniversary.
