FOR SALE: Singapore’s Raffles Hotel

Saudi Arabia’s billionaire Prince Alwaleed is putting his flagship Raffles Hotel in Singapore on the market — for a cool £300 million!

The move is seen as a way for the Prince — who owns most of Raffles’ parent Fairmont Hotels as well as a sizable share of Four Seasons Hotels — to rein in costs during the global downturn.

Although not exactly starving, the Prince has seen his personal worth plummet from $22 billion to $13 billion over the past year.
